Who am I and why should you listen to me?

My name is Dr. Kelly Morgan, and I am a health coach, professor, and health motivation expert. I’ve been featured in places like Self, Thrive Global, Healthyway, SheKnows, and on multiple podcasts.

In case you’ve never heard of me <horrified gasp>, here’s why I’m uniquely and firmly qualified to tell you everything you had ever wanted to know about weight loss.

I have Ph.D. in Health Communication and am a certified health coach, personal trainer, fitness nutrition specialist, fitness instructor, and yoga instructor.

Those pieces of paper are great, but what is really important is that I’ve been where you are...and everywhere in between.

I have recovered from anorexia, gained too much weight in a time of stress, and lost the weight to get to a happy place, finally. I know what it takes to find balance while fulfilling the seemingly endless work, academic, family, social, and personal commitments we all have.

I have worked with hundreds of busy, high-achieving clients and students looking to lose weight, eat better, improve their fitness, be more energetic, and reduce their stress. I’ve helped them go from struggling to having a plan they stick to to reach their health goals. They’ve seen immediate success, and take an average of 2-3 months to fully reach their goal.

I started Tsirona because I was sick and tired of people struggling with reaching their health goals and not finding a solution because of the amount of junk information out there that is either flat wrong or isn’t actionable.

Hi! I'm Kelly.

I’ve been in the health, wellness, and fitness industry since 2003, when I taught my first group fitness class in college.

I get you.

I’ve made my way through the industry as a Certified GFI, CPT, RYT 200 Yoga Instructor, Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Health Coach. I’m also a professor at the largest public university in Virginia where I get to play in the academic end of this stuff.

After finishing my Ph.D. in Health Communication in 2013, I opened my health coaching practice and moved it fully online in 2014. I’ve been through the trial and error process in my business over the last 10 years, and I took the extra step to get my M.B.A. in 2019 to fully master the business world.

I know how daunting it is to figure out all of the MANY things involved in running a successful business in our industry. Luckily, I’ve already paid the money, gotten the education, and made the mistakes so you don’t have to!

When does the course start and finish?
The course content is available starting January 21, 2018 and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
How does it work?
There are 4 video modules with lectures and multiple associated worksheets and tools. Depending on the amount of time you have available, the videos and worksheets are self-paced and can be done in whatever amount of time works for you. I strongly recommend spending dedicated time on each part of the jumpstart to be sure that you've create your best plan that you can stick to.
How much flexibility is there?
As much as you work in. This plan is designed and carried out by you, so you're in control. I provide you will the tools to create your perfect plan - and to change it if you need to.
Who has this worked for?
I have used this framework with women and men from 18-70, and they have all been successful. In fact, I have an unprecedented near 100% success rate with my clients and university students. Will I have to count calories?
No, not if that doesn't work for you. We're all motivated in different ways, and I offer tracking methods for all personalities and preferences.
Will this plan affect my family life?
I encourage you to let it affect your family in a positive way by bringing them into your new healthy lifestyle with healthy meals and exercise through play. Children are receptive to healthy activities, so let them be your partners! You do not have to design a restrictive program that would alienate your family.
I hate dieting. Do I have to do that?
This plan isn't about dieting or restriction. It's about making smart choices that are in line with whatever your goal may be.
I hate exercising. Do I have to do that?
You will need to move, but you can do that in any way you wish. There is no need to hit the gym or go running.
What can happen in a jumpstart?
You can go from zero to workable plan that fits with your life, and get started in a smart, sustainable way. You will likely begin seeing weight changes soon after implementing your plan.
What if I don't get results?

With all of the Instagram models, filters, celebrities shilling “miracle” products, and distortion of reality out there, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed about our health. Even for a health coach! We’re people too, friends. I put my leggings on one leg at a time...and occasionally lose my balance while doing so.

I’ve been where you are. My decision to create this course and help others came from a place of understanding. Let's step back to around this time two years ago when I found that I needed to make changes in my life for my health and my sanity. I had a mental conflict between my profession and area of study as a health professional and the fallout of eating junk, being increasingly sedentary, and probably a touch of depression to boot. Real talk here.
